Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that our Sookie's becoming frighteningly bloodthirsty and jaded, given everything that's happened to her, but it's still a bit disappointing, and I felt a lessening of her enthusiastic innocence and forthright humor. Still, the amount of plot, event, and detail Harris jams into this book makes it an absolute pleasure, and I'm very sad that there are no more completed books waiting for me to read.
