Blue Marble

Taken from the Apollo 17 mission, this photograph, which is often known as "Blue Marble," was the first to fully capture the whole of Earth from space.

Seeing our planet floating alone in blackness, small and vulnerable, changed our perceptions of ourselves, our home, and our place in the universe.

The Earth is small and fragile but it is our mother. Let's protect it and keep it clean. It's our whole world.
