Seasonal View

This gif was created with two years of pictures of the view from my east-facing bedroom window in Washington Heights, uptown Manhattan, NYC, distilled into a single seasonal rotation.  

Beyond the cliff of High Bridge Park across the street, that's the Harlem River down there, with Morris Heights in the Bronx on the other side.  

The bridge is the Washington Bridge, which connects 181st St. in Manhattan to the Cross Bronx Expressway in the Bronx.  The Washington Bridge should not be confused with the George Washington Bridge, the much larger span that connects Manhattan across the Hudson to the mainland on the west side of the island. 

Along the shoreline of the Bronx side, the Major Deegan Expressway and the Amtrak and MetroNorth train lines can also be seen when the trees are bare.
